Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya, a respected leader in retail and consumer goods, is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to join our Solo team. This full-time role focuses on expanding our footprint in the Surakarta area by delivering exceptional product availability, value, and promotions to retailers and consumers.
As the Sales Representative, you will execute the regional sales strategy, build enduring relationships with shop owners, distributors, and merchandisers, and ensure our products are well represented in-store. You will manage daily field activities, meet or exceed monthly targets, collect market insights, and collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to optimize promotions and stock levels. Your efforts will influence product visibility, customer loyalty, and top-line growth in the Central Java market.
Ideal candidates are highly motivated, target-driven professionals who thrive in a dynamic field environment. A background of 1-2 years in sales is preferred, along with a valid SIM C and personal motorcycle or scooter for efficient travel across the Solo region. Strong communication, negotiation, and time-management skills are essential. You should be comfortable using basic digital tools to report activities and outcomes, and you must be reliable, professional, and customer-focused.

Responsibility
- Identify and acquire new retail accounts within Surakarta and nearby areas to expand Garudafood's distribution network.
- Meet and strive to exceed monthly sales targets through effective account planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and merchandisers to maximize product visibility and shelves share.
- Present Garudafood products, promotions, and incentive programs to customers with clear value propositions.
- Coordinate in-store merchandising, stock management, and timely product replenishment to ensure availability.
- Accurately document field activities, submit weekly reports, and provide forecasts and market feedback to management.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to optimize promotions, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and ethical sales practices.
Qualification
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- High school diploma or higher; bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Valid SIM C and own motorcycle or scooter for regional travel.
- Willingness to travel within the Solo and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficient in basic computer skills, CRM, and reporting tools.
