Responsibility
- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and financial reports for school operations
- Administer accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and expense tracking
- Monitor and maintain the school's financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate internal and external audits; address discrepancies and recommend process improvements
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Assist in budget planning and cost control initiatives to optimize resource allocation
- Ensure timely payment of invoices, tuition fees, and other receivables
- Collaborate with school administrators to provide financial guidance and support daily operations
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA is a strong advantage
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within an educational or organizational setting
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, students, and parents
- Knowledge of Philippine financial regulations and best practices
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
