Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics instruction for grades 9-12 aligned to state standards and school goals.
- Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs and provide timely feedback to students.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; analyze results to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, data analysis, and cross-curricular projects.
- Establish a positive classroom culture with clear expectations, classroom management, and safety.
- Engage with families through conferences and communications to support student growth.
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning and engagement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching credential or state certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience in secondary education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics; ability to teach multiple levels.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and commitment to inclusive practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with educational technology, data-driven instruction, and learning platforms.
