Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across designated subject areas for secondary students.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative methods and provide timely feedback.
- Differentiates instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with national or state standards.
- Manage classroom behavior and cultivate an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and assessment tasks.
- Engage with parents/guardians to communicate progress and support.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area; teacher qualification/PGCE or equivalent.
- Qualified teacher status with demonstrable experience teaching at the secondary level.
- Proficiency in evidence-based instructional strategies and assessment design.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster student engagement.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and professional ethics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and parents.
- Experience with digital learning tools and data-driven instruction is preferred.
