Responsibility
- Plan and deliver rigorous, engaging lessons aligned to the curriculum standards for secondary students.
- Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs, including English learners and students with diverse abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families.
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and safety.
- Collaborate with subject teams to design cross-curricular projects and ensure coherence of the curriculum.
- Utilize data and assessments to inform instruction and implement targeted interventions as needed.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives and mentoring programs.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and participate in child protection training as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Qualified Teacher Status QTS or equivalent teaching credential for the UK or applicable region.
- Proven teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding of students.
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and data-driven instruction.
- Willingness to obtain or maintain an enhanced DBS check if required.
