Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across key stages for GCSE and A-Level preparation.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs, including EAL and SEN learners.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative methods and provide meaningful feedback.
- Maintain a positive classroom culture that promotes safety, respect, and high expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curricula, share best practices, and contribute to school initiatives.
- Integrate technology and data-driven planning to enhance learning outcomes and assessment.
Qualification
- Hold a relevant bachelor's degree and qualified teacher status (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
- Current teaching certification eligible to teach in the United Kingdom or corresponding jurisdiction.
- Proven secondary classroom teaching experience with a track record of student progress.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to support GCSE and A-Level preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Proficiency in differentiating instruction and using data to inform planning and assessment.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data systems to support learning.
