As a member of our teaching team, you will collaborate with colleagues to design rigorous curricula, deliver equitable instruction, and assess student progress using data-driven approaches. We value curiosity, resilience, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction across assigned subjects for grades 9–12, aligning with state standards and school-wide goals.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including English learners and students with accommodations.
- Design and administer assessments, analyze results, and adjust instruction to improve student outcomes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that emphasizes respect, collaboration, and student engagement.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to develop curricula, pacing guides, and benchmark assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress toward learning goals; communicate with families and stakeholders as needed.
- Integrate technology and innovative instructional tools to enhance learning and digital literacy.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or the subject area; valid secondary teaching certification/license (as applicable by region).
- Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience in secondary education or a closely related setting.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and assessment practices; data-driven instruction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
- Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems; comfortable with PLCs and collaboration tools.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and reflect on practice.
