Responsibility
- Deliver high quality, engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school schemes of work.
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and promote inclusion.
- Set and mark meaningful homework and assessments to drive progression.
- Plan and collaborate with department colleagues on schemes of work and cross curricular projects.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
- Monitor safeguarding, contribute to pastoral care, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and performance reviews.
Qualification
- Degree in Education or relevant subject area with a UK recognized teaching qualification such as QTS
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching at secondary school level, preferably in the UK or international setting
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and assess student progress effectively
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare with up to date training
- Proficiency with education technology and data driven instruction
