Responsibility
- Deliver engaging lessons across key stage 3 and GCSE curricula, ensuring alignment with national standards.
- Plan and implement high-quality schemes of work, lessons, and assessments that promote student progression.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and assess progress with timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records, track attainment, and communicate progress to parents and guardians.
- Establish an inclusive, respectful classroom environment with effective behavior management strategies.
- Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, cross-subject projects, and school-wide initiatives.
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (UK) or equivalent teaching certification for the subject and age range.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in secondary education, preferably GCSE level.
- Solid understanding of the national curriculum, assessment frameworks, and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse learner needs.
