Responsibility
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 across the secondary curriculum.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and monitor progress using data-driven approaches.
- Establish a positive classroom culture, manage behaviour, and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and contribute to formal reporting cycles.
- Collaborate with subject leaders and colleagues to design and review schemes of work.
- Adapt to departmental initiatives and use ICT tools to enhance learning outcomes.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student development and attainment.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in education or relevant subject area with a recognised teaching qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in secondary schools across Key Stages 3–5
- Strong classroom management and behaviour for learning strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding standards
- Proficiency in using assessment data to inform instruction and intervention
