Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons to GCSE/IGCSE students across key subjects
- Plan and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
- Assess pupil progress using formative and summative methods and provide timely feedback
- Maintain clear behaviour management strategies and create a positive classroom climate
- Collaborate with subject teams to develop cross-curricular projects and assessments
- Incorporate technology and data to inform instruction and personalise learning
- Support pastoral care and contribute to welfare and safeguarding policies
- Engage with parents and guardians to share progress and celebrate achievement
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent credential
- Honours degree in relevant subject or education discipline
- Minimum 2 years of secondary classroom teaching experience
- Strong classroom management, planning, and differentiation skills
- Experience with assessment for learning and data-driven instruction
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with educational technology and virtual learning environments
