Responsibility
- Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's schemes of work.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners across ability ranges and support students with additional needs.
- Assess learning regularly and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and peers.
- Plan and develop high-quality schemes of learning, resources, and assessment tasks.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology and data-driven improvement strategies.
- Lead or co-lead Mathematics clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment programs.
- Contribute to safeguarding, behavior management, and school-wide initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education; qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or current teaching license in the UK, or international equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience in secondary education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, data privacy, and ethical teaching practices.
- Proficiency with educational technology and ICT tools to enhance learning outcomes.
