Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to diverse learners across Key Stages 3-5.
- Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports students’ academic and personal growth.
- Differentiate instruction to meet varying abilities and learning styles.
- Assess, provide timely feedback, and track student progress against curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and assessments.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards in line with school policies.
- Engage with parents and carers to support student attainment and well-being.
Qualification
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of secondary teaching experience (UK context preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies; DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with classroom technology and educational software.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with parents.
