Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned Mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3-5 (ages 11-16).
- Plan and sequence a coherent curriculum with clear objectives and success criteria.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and monitor progress with formative and summative assessments.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports student wellbeing and high behavior standards.
- Collaborate with the Mathematics department to develop shared resources and best practices.
- Utilize data and feedback to inform planning and accelerate student achievement.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Prepare and support students for GCSE examinations and progression opportunities.
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (KS3-KS5).
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support learners across attainment levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience using data to inform instruction and track student progress.
- Familiarity with GCSE curriculum and assessment expectations; A-level exposure is a plus.
- Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and professional ethics.
