Responsibility
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in STEM subjects (Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science) across KS3–KS5.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners and promote inclusive education.
- Assess student work, provide timely feedback, and adjust instruction based on data to drive progress.
- Develop and implement a rigorous curriculum aligned with national standards and school objectives.
- Foster a positive classroom environment, manage behavior, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and contribute to extracurricular STEM initiatives.
- Engage with parents/guardians through clear communication and regular progress updates.
Qualification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching at the secondary level (KS3–KS5) with evidence of improving student outcomes.
- Strong subject knowledge across physics, maths, and CS; ability to teach multiple STEM subjects is advantageous.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to curriculum development.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and data-driven instructional improvement.
