Responsibility
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for grades 9-12 across assigned subjects.
- Plan coherent units, design assessments, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners' needs.
- Foster a positive classroom culture focused on respect, inclusivity, and student voice.
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school initiatives.
- Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in academic advising.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to curriculum refinement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; teaching certification in Ontario (or eligible).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level preferred.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student well-being.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data-driven instruction.
