Responsibility
- Patrol assigned sites on foot or by vehicle to ensure security and safety
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond promptly to suspicious activity or breaches
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing access controls and security policies
- Prepare accurate reports of incidents, irregularities, or emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
- Conduct regular safety checks and hazard identification
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Act as a visible deterrent and confidently address potential security threats
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent required; additional security training preferred
- Valid security guard license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military highly valued
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations
- Basic computer literacy and report writing proficiency
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Background check and drug screening required
