As Security Operations Manager, you will oversee on-site security teams across multiple sites in London, develop robust security protocols, and coordinate with clients and local authorities to ensure rapid response and exemplary risk mitigation. Responsibility
- Lead and manage on-site security teams across multiple sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and continually improve security policies, procedures, and guard rotations.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, write incident reports, and drive root-cause investigations.
- Coordinate with clients, law enforcement, and emergency services during security incidents and drills.
- Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, alarms, patrol operations, and incident response activities.
- Manage vendor relationships, training programs, and performance metrics to optimize security operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and health and safety requirements across all sites.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of security operations experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, or major events settings.
- Relevant UK qualifications such as SIA/BS 7499/BS 7958 or equivalent international certifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-relations skills; proven ability to manage multi-site teams.
- Demonstrated incident response, crisis management, and emergency planning capabilities.
- Proficiency with security technologies including CCTV, access control systems, and intruder alarms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, travel between sites, and respond to incidents on short notice.
- Security clearance requirements or eligibility to obtain as needed.
