NovaGuard Security Solutions is seeking a proactive Security Services Manager to lead on site security operations for corporate campuses in New York City. Responsibility
- Lead security operations across assigned sites, including manned guarding, access control, and incident management.
- Develop and implement security policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability audits, and oversee remedial actions.
- Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and liaison with local law enforcement.
- Manage security contractor performance, scheduling, and budgets.
- Oversee surveillance and alarm systems, CCTV maintenance, and alarm response protocols.
- Provide incident reporting, investigations, and after action reviews with clear recommendations.
- Foster a client focused security culture with transparent communication and high service levels.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in security operations with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, access control, CCTV systems, and incident response.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client facing skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, respond to incidents, and coordinate with emergency services.
- Security certifications such as PSS CPP PSP are a plus.
- Proven track record in staff management, scheduling, and vendor management.
- Eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks.
