At ApexGuard Security Solutions, we protect people, assets, and reputations through premier security services. We’re seeking a seasoned Security Services Operations Manager to lead client engagements, optimize operations, and drive service excellence across London and the UK.
As a critical member of our operations team, you will coordinate security staffing, incident response, risk assessments, and technology-enabled security solutions for high-profile clients in dynamic environments. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage security operations for multiple client sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to SLAs.
- Design and optimize staffing plans, rostering, and incident response processes to minimize risk and response times.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to implement physical security measures and access control solutions.
- Oversee security technology integration (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems) and ensure proper maintenance and uptime.
- Develop and implement risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and corrective action plans.
- Lead after-action reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and safety standards.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to maximize value and compliance.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing security operations team, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and client focus.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in security operations.
- Minimum 5 years in physical security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and security technology systems.
- Strong knowledge of UK security regulations, health and safety standards, and data protection principles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, prioritize under pressure, and lead diverse teams.
- Relevant certifications (CAMS, SIA, IOSH/NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
- Proven budget management and procurement acumen.
