As a critical member of our operations team, you will coordinate security staffing, incident response, risk assessments, and technology-enabled security solutions for high-profile clients in dynamic environments. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage security operations for multiple client sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to SLAs.
  • Design and optimize staffing plans, rostering, and incident response processes to minimize risk and response times.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to implement physical security measures and access control solutions.
  • Oversee security technology integration (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems) and ensure proper maintenance and uptime.
  • Develop and implement risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and corrective action plans.
  • Lead after-action reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to maximize value and compliance.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing security operations team, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and client focus.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in security operations.
  • Minimum 5 years in physical security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and security technology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UK security regulations, health and safety standards, and data protection principles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites, prioritize under pressure, and lead diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications (CAMS, SIA, IOSH/NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
  • Proven budget management and procurement acumen.
