Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate security operations across client sites in the New York area.
- Lead incident response, threat assessment, and investigation processes to minimize risk and downtime.
- Develop, implement, and audit security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance of security personnel; recruit and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with clients, facilities teams, and law enforcement as needed; produce regular security reports.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and manage access control and surveillance systems.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years in security operations with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CPP or PSP are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident response, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic NYC environment; flexible schedule and travel within the area.
- Proficiency with security management software, guard tour systems, and productivity tools.
