Responsibility

  • Lead conceptual design and develop schematic solutions from concept through construction documents.
  • Manage design teams, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project coherence.
  • Develop and refine BIM models using Revit, including coordination with structural and MEP systems.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders for approvals.
  • Oversee code analysis, sustainability strategies, and materials research to achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure construction documentation accuracy, detailing, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control across all phases.
  • Mentor junior designers and coordinate internal design reviews to maintain design excellence.

Qualification

  • Licensed Architect in New York or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/Grasshopper, SketchUp, and BIM coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and present to clients with confidence.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
