We seek a Senior Architect to lead project teams from concept through construction, collaborating with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver transformative spaces.
What you’ll do: lead design development, coordinate BIM workflows, mentor junior staff, and advocate for design quality and regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio in civic, cultural, and commercial sectors.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage design development for complex projects, ensuring vision, function, and feasibility.
- Coordinate BIM workflows (Revit) and clash detection with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and refine construction documents, detailing for fabrication and construction.
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and interns, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and navigate project constraints.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures; manage risk and change orders.
- Advise on sustainable strategies, building performance, and material selection.
- Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Qualification
- Professional Architecture degree (NAAB-accredited or equivalent); licensed architect preferred.
- 7+ years of architecture practice with leadership experience on complex projects.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit, Rhino) and 3D visualization; strong AutoCAD skills.
- Strong understanding of codes, zoning, accessibility, and construction detailing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing experience a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality design across phases (concept through construction).
- Commitment to sustainable design, performance metrics, and integrated project delivery.
