Responsibility

  • Lead design development from concept through construction documents for complex residential, commercial, and public projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent is preserved throughout construction.
  • Develop BIM models and coordination drawings using Revit and related tools; maintain model integrity and standards.
  • Create compelling presentation materials for client reviews and design reviews with clarity and confidence.
  • Oversee project teams, set schedules, manage budgets, and monitor quality control across phases.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning, and sustainability requirements (LEED or equivalent).
  • Mentor junior staff, review work, and promote design literacy across the studio.
  • Contribute to firm-wide design strategy and participate in business development and client relationships.

Qualification

  • Minimum 8 years of professional architecture experience with a strong portfolio of high-rise, civic, or large-scale projects.
  • Licensed Architect preferred; active licensure in New York or willingness to pursue.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper) and 3D visualization (V-Ray, Enscape).
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices (LEED accreditation a plus).
  • Excellent design sense, strong communication, and leadership abilities to mentor a team.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client presentations; ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating concept development, technical detailing, and construction documentation.
