Join a premier architecture studio redefining urban spaces in New York City. We are seeking a Senior Architect to drive design excellence on high-profile mixed-use, cultural, and civic projects. You will lead concept development, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and ensure construction documentation meets rigorous standards.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-ready presentations, BIM models, and detailed drawings. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, proficiency with BIM software, and a track record leading projects from concept to completion.
Responsibility
- Lead architectural design development from concept through construction documents for complex projects.
- Manage project teams, timelines, and coordination with consultants and clients.
- Develop and present design concepts, schemes, and BIM models to stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, and renderings for permit and client reviews.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability goals.
- Oversee QA/QC and coordinate with construction administration, responding to RFIs and submittals.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to firm-wide design standards.
Qualification
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Registered Architect license preferred or on track for licensure.
- 5+ years of professional experience on complex, design-forward projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/SketchUp; strong BIM and documentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of building codes (IBC), NFPA, accessibility, and zoning.
- Excellent design portfolio and strong presentation abilities.
- Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
