Responsibility

  • Lead design development from concept through construction documents for multiple projects, ensuring quality and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to integrate program, sustainability, and budget goals.
  • Develop and present design concepts, massing studies, and design rationales to stakeholders.
  • Oversee BIM workflows (Revit) and coordinate 3D models with MEP and structural disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and accessibility requirements across all phases.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation; monitor risk and change control.
  • Mentor and supervise junior architects and interns, fostering design excellence and professional growth.

Qualification

  • Licensed Architect or professional track with active licensure preferred; registered or eligible in New York is a plus.
  • 8+ years of comprehensive architectural experience across multiple sectors, including cultural, civic, or workplace.
  • Proven proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, accessibility, and sustainability guidelines (LEED or equivalent).
  • Excellent design portfolio demonstrating concept-to-construction quality and technical detailing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client relations skills; ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
