We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead design teams, shepherd complex projects from concept through construction, and elevate our design language across a diverse portfolio that includes civic, cultural, and mixed-use developments. This role blends design leadership with hands-on project management in a collaborative, boutique-to-mid-sized firm environment in Seattle.
As a Senior Architect, you will drive concept development, create compelling presentations for clients and planning authorities, and oversee technical documentation to ensure accuracy and buildability. You will mentor junior staff, foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, and contribute to the firm’s growth strategies by expanding our BIM-driven workflow and sustainable design narrative.

Responsibility
- Lead architectural design from concept through construction documentation for complex, mid-to-large scale projects.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and consultants to develop robust, buildable design solutions.
- Manage project schedule, budget, and quality controls; oversee performance milestones.
- Direct BIM workflows using Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and other design tools; review models and drawings for accuracy.
- Ensure code compliance, permitting, and coordination with authorities having jurisdiction.
- Oversee construction administration, site visits, and field RFI responses.
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and design staff; foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional licensure preferred.
- 8+ years of architectural practice with a portfolio of large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit) and parametric tools (Rhino/Grasshopper); AutoCAD experience required.
- Strong design sensibility with a focus on materiality, detailing, and sustainability.
- Experience with codes, permitting processes, and construction administration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills; able to lead cross-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
