Responsibility

  • Lead the design process from concept to schematic design and development, ensuring alignment with program and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to articulate design intent and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Manage BIM workflows using Revit and ensure model integrity across disciplines.
  • Oversee construction documentation, detailing, and coordination drawings for permitting and bidding.
  • Provide technical leadership on sustainability, accessibility, and building code compliance.
  • Guide junior architects and interns, assigning tasks and mentoring growth.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high quality, value driven design outcomes.

Qualification

  • Professional architect license in Washington or ability to obtain reciprocity; 7+ years of experience in architecture practice.
  • Proven experience leading design teams on complex projects across sectors.
  • Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp; experience with BIM360 or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles.
  • Experience with construction documents, permit submissions, and construction administration.
