In this role you will guide design decisions, manage client presentations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and practical architectural solutions from concept through construction.
Responsibility
- Lead design development for multiple projects from concept through construction administration.
- Develop architectural concepts, drawings, models, and compelling client presentations.
- Coordinate BIM workflows, clash detection, and parameter management across teams.
- Ensure code compliance, zoning, accessibility standards, and permit readiness.
- Oversee production of construction documents, specifications, and detail libraries.
- Collaborate with engineers, landscape architects, and consultants to integrate systems and disciplines.
- Lead project teams, monitor schedules, and manage budgets while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
- Provide construction administration support and respond to site queries and field conditions.
Qualification
- Accredited degree in Architecture; professional licensure or eligibility in New York.
- 5+ years of hands-on architectural experience with a strong portfolio of built work.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software (Rhino, SketchUp).
- Solid understanding of NYC codes, zoning, sustainability, and accessibility requirements.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills; confident in client presentations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage timelines, and coordinate with consultants.
- Experience with construction administration and documentation processes.
