Responsibility
- Lead design development for complex residential and commercial projects from concept through construction documents.
- Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction to secure permits.
- Develop BIM models in Revit and coordinate drawings; produce high-quality presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes, zoning, accessibility standards, and sustainability criteria.
- Oversee code analysis, massing studies, and design reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to business development and studio design leadership through client engagement and thought leadership.
Qualification
- 8+ years of professional architecture experience with a strong portfolio in residential and commercial projects.
- Licensed Architect in New York or eligible for licensure within 12 months.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp; strong BIM coordination and drawing production.
- Extensive knowledge of NYC Building Code, zoning, accessibility (ADA), and sustainability standards (LEED or WELL).
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program; excellent design communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing project timelines and budgets.
- Strong technical detailing, problem-solving mindset, and collaborative work style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
