Join LumenArc Studio, a premium architecture practice known for award-winning urban design and culturally resonant buildings. We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead complex projects from concept to construction.
In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines, mentor emerging designers, and drive design excellence while managing client relationships and project teams in a fast-paced, design-forward environment.
Responsibility
- Lead architectural concept development and design iterations for urban-scale projects.
- Oversee the creation of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and client communications to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning ordinances, and permit processes; coordinate approvals with authorities.
- Lead BIM workflows using Revit and Rhino/Grasshopper; coordinate design data across teams.
- Champion sustainable design strategies and pursue LEED or WELL certification goals.
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders; translate feedback into actionable design decisions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- 7+ years of professional architecture experience, with urban design exposure.
- Proficiency in BIM and CAD tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting processes; experience with NY codes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex urban design work and construction documentation.
- Licensed Architect in NY or eligible; LEED AP or WELL AP preferred.
