Responsibility

  • Lead architecture and integration of automotive electronics systems including ECU software, sensors, actuators, and power electronics.
  • Design and validate power electronics and control algorithms for EV platforms; perform DFMEA and reliability analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define hardware and software requirements, interfaces and validation plans.
  • Develop and maintain system level models in Matlab Simulink and perform simulation based testing.
  • Lead debugging, test planning, and on vehicle validation; coordinate with suppliers and external labs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ISO 26262 and industry regulations; contribute to design reviews.
  • Support prototype development and iterative optimization; document design decisions and maintain design history.

Qualification

  • Bachelors or Masters in electrical engineering or related field; 5+ years automotive electronics experience.
  • Strong experience with power electronics including DC-DC converters, inverters, motor control and battery management systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD/ECAD tools such as Altium and Mentor; software development in C/C++ and Python; MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety and safety case development; DFMEA.
  • Knowledge of vehicle networks CAN LIN Ethernet and ECU bring up.
  • Excellent problem solving and cross functional collaboration; strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to mentor junior engineers and drive results in a fast paced environment.
