Responsibility
- Design and execute experiments in genomics, transcriptomics, and cellular biology to advance key projects.
- Develop robust experimental protocols, optimize assays, and troubleshoot issues across the research lifecycle.
- Analyze complex datasets using bioinformatics tools; interpret results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with R&D, clinical, and operations teams to align on milestones and deliverables.
- Mentor junior scientists, contribute to grant writing, and support publication of results.
- Maintain meticulous records, ensure data integrity, and oversee quality control in the lab.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and bioethics standards while managing resources and timelines.
Qualification
- PhD in biology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or a related field; or MS with substantial relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on lab experience in genomics, cell culture, and molecular assays.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using R, Python, or equivalent tools; experience with sequencing data preferred.
- Strong experimental design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated ability to present to cross-functional teams.
- Experience mentoring staff or students; grant writing and publication experience a plus.
