We seek a proactive technologist who thrives in fast-paced environments, champions best practices, and mentors junior staff to elevate the entire broadcast operation.

Responsibility

  • Operate and maintain live and pre‑recorded broadcast systems, including routing, video servers, ingest pipelines, and master control rooms.
  • Manage IP-based video workflows (SMPTE 2110, NDI) and SDI infrastructure to ensure signal integrity and low latency.
  • Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of new broadcast equipment and automation systems from vendor evaluation to production readiness.
  • Monitor signal quality, perform fault isolation, implement rapid incident response, and coordinate with IT and facilities for resolution.
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and IT to ensure seamless live and on‑demand content across broadcast, streaming, and OTT platforms.
  • Design and implement redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery strategies to maximize uptime.
  • Document configurations, change control, and procedures; provide hands-on training to staff and assist with vendor relationships and maintenance contracts.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in broadcast engineering, live production, or a similar setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of IP video workflows (SMPTE 2110, ST 2110-30/40), SDI, and NDI with hands-on system integration.
  • Experience with broadcast automation platforms (Ross Overdrive, Grass Valley GV Orbit, or equivalent) and master control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and incident response capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with producers, IT, and external vendors.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for live events.
