We are seeking a Senior Broadcast Engineer to design, install, and maintain our live and on demand broadcast systems. You will work with a dynamic team to ensure maximum uptime and pristine signal quality across our platforms.
In this role you will plan and maintain master control room infrastructure, oversee signal routing, automation, encoders, decoders, and playout servers. You will collaborate with production, IT, and engineering teams to support live events, remote feeds, and on location shoots, while upholding safety and reliability standards.

Responsibility
- Plan and install broadcast infrastructure including master control rooms, encoders, switchers, routers, and signal distribution systems.
- Monitor live broadcasts, troubleshoot outages, and implement rapid recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and upgrade video and audio processing equipment, automation systems, and playout servers.
- Collaborate with production teams to support live events, remote feeds, and on location shoots.
- Implement quality control, logging, and redundancy strategies for broadcast operations.
- Document standard operating procedures and participate in incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry standards such as SMPTE, EBU, and DVB, and recommend modern upgrades.
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross functional IT and engineering teams.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, broadcast engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years in live broadcast operations or a technical broadcasting environment.
- Strong knowledge of SDI/HD-SDI, video and audio processing, waveform monitoring, and signal routing.
- Experience with live production automation, playout systems, NRCS, and CDN distribution.
- Proficiency with scheduling, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work under pressure during live events and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications such as SMPTE, Cisco, or equivalent preferred.
