As a critical member of the Engineering & Technical Operations team, you will partner with Producers, Directors, and IT to ensure reliable, high‑quality transmissions from studio to cloud.

Responsibility
- Oversee live studio operations, automated playouts, and on-air signal routing to ensure uninterrupted broadcasts.
- Operate and monitor master control equipment, routers, switchers, encoders/decoders, and associated automation systems.
- Troubleshoot transmission issues in real-time, coordinating with engineering and IT to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Producers and Directors to implement graphics, lower thirds, and playback while maintaining brand standards.
- Manage disaster recovery plans, backup workflows, and contingency procedures for broadcast continuity.
- Assist with system testing, software updates, and new gear deployment with proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SMPTE, E&O, FCC) and safety guidelines.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Media Technology, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in broadcast environments.
- 5+ years of broadcast engineering experience in live television, streaming, or multi-channel networks.
- Strong knowledge of SDI/HD-SDI, SMPTE standards, video routing, audio over IP, and broadcast automation systems.
- Proficiency with hardware and software across control rooms, master control, and playout servers; hands-on with routers, switchers, encoders/decoders.
- Experience with live graphics, encoding pipelines, and streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS).
- Solid troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident response skills; ability to operate under pressure during broadcasts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
