Join a fast-growing, strategic partner-focused team at Apex Growth Partners as a Senior Business Development Manager. You will drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, building partner ecosystems, and closing high-value deals. This is a hybrid, remote-friendly role with quarterly in-person collaboration in New York City.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies to penetrate target markets and industries.
- Identify, qualify, and convert high-potential leads into strategic partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, forecasting with accuracy and pace.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging and drive end-to-end deal closures.
- Negotiate terms, structure partnerships, and close multi-year contracts with enterprise clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform go-to-market plans.
Responsibility
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
- Develop compelling value propositions and tailored pitches for executive audiences.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams to close strategic partnerships and revenue deals.
- Build and nurture a partner ecosystem and alliance programs.
- Forecast, track, and optimize the sales pipeline to hit quarterly and annual targets.
- Prepare and present business cases to senior leadership and potential investors where applicable.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to generate qualified opportunities.
Qualification
- 5+ years of B2B business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales experience.
- Strong track record of building strategic partnerships and closing complex deals worth six figures+.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-level audiences.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable GTM plans.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
