We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager who can identify and close strategic partnerships, drive pipeline growth, and collaborate across product and marketing to accelerate revenue. This is a hands-on, quota-driven role ideal for a proactive, consultative closer with a passion for building valuable, long-term partnerships. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX with occasional travel.

Responsibility

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, channel opportunities, and co-sell programs that align with company objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end business development cycles from lead generation to deal closure, including proposal development and negotiations.
  • Develop and execute multi-quarter go-to-market plans with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product).
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), with accurate forecasting and KPI reporting.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success to craft compelling value propositions and partner enablement materials.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings to generate new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior BD team members and share best practices to scale the function.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify new revenue streams.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of business development, partnerships, or B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and creating long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot) and data-driven forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (post-pandemic norms) and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and high initiative.
