PeakPath Career Services seeks a Senior Career Consultant to empower professionals to achieve bold career outcomes. Based in New York City, this role offers hybrid working options and a collaborative, client centered environment.
You will deliver personalized coaching, create strategic career roadmaps, and coach clients through resume optimization, LinkedIn branding, interview preparation, networking strategies, and negotiation best practices. You will partner with clients across industries to elevate career trajectory and help them secure meaningful roles.
Responsibility
- Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions to diagnose career goals and design tailored roadmaps
- Develop individualized career action plans with measurable milestones
- Lead resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn optimization workshops
- Provide interview coaching and mock interview sessions with actionable feedback
- Guide clients through job search strategy, networking plans, and market research
- Coach on salary negotiations and total rewards to maximize outcomes
- Track client progress, maintain CRM records, and report on engagement outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to design programs and scale services
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in career coaching, talent development, or executive search
- Proven track record helping clients achieve career milestones and job offers
- Strong coaching presence with excellent listening, questioning, and facilitation skills
- Experience with career assessment tools (MBTI, CliftonStrengths, Holland, etc.) and resume analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to groups
- Proficiency with LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and CRM tools; data-driven mindset
- Certification in career coaching or related credential preferred; willingness to pursue ongoing training
