We are seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to lead project teams, scale pilot processes to production, ensure safety and compliance, and drive value through process intensification and energy efficiency.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and optimization of chemical processes for new facilities and existing plants.
- Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances.
- Scale-up from lab to pilot to full-scale production, troubleshoot processes, and implement robust testing plans.
- Lead safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, including risk assessments and HAZOP collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, EHS, procurement, and maintenance to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Perform CAPEX and OPEX economic evaluations and drive value engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers, support recruitment, and develop training programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering; master's or PhD preferred for senior roles.
- 5+ years of experience in process design, scale-up, or operations in chemical manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD; familiarity with CAD tools.
- Knowledge of HAZOP, PSR, and safety standards (OSHA, NFPA) and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with energy integration, heat exchange networks, and process optimization initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills; ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work in a fast paced, matrix environment.
