As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive performance improvements, advance technology development, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibility

  • Lead design, optimization, and scale-up of chemical processes from concept to production, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • \n
  • Develop and review mass and energy balances, P&IDs, process descriptions, and equipment specifications.
  • \n
  • Conduct techno-economic analyses, CAPEX/OPEX estimates, and lifecycle assessments to support capital projects.
  • \n
  • Perform process safety reviews, hazard analyses, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and R&D to implement process improvements and debottlenecking opportunities.
  • \n
  • Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams in projects and investigations.
  • \n
  • Lead data-driven optimization using process data, simulations, and DOE studies to improve yield, energy efficiency, and reliability.
  • \n
  • Oversee commissioning, start-up, and handover to operations for new or modified processes.
  • \n

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
  • \n
  • 5+ years of process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing or related industries.
  • \n
  • Strong proficiency with process simulation tools (ASPEN Plus, HYSYS) and process control concepts.
  • \n
  • Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specification development.
  • \n
  • Proven project management skills, including small-to-mid scale capital projects.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; PE license is a plus.
  • \n
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15% for site assignments and vendor engagements.
