You will design, review, and manage multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibility

  • Lead civil design and technical analysis for municipal, transportation, and site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM tools.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, architects, and internal teams; prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, licenses, and permitting processes (AASHTO, local DOT, city standards).
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and interns; perform design reviews and QA/QC checks.
  • Develop BIM models, 3D visualizations, and detailed construction documents; support proposal efforts.
  • Conduct hydrology and hydraulics analyses, drainage studies, and site drainage design; assess risk and sustainability aspects.
  • Support project management activities, including risk assessment, change management, and client communication.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in infrastructure design, including roads, drainage, utilities, and site development.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM (Revit), and modeling software; experience with HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards and permitting processes; familiarity with TXDOT and municipal standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing skills, and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven project management experience, risk assessment, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
