Responsibility

  • Lead and manage civil engineering design for transportation, drainage, utilities, and site development projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and review technical calculations, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM processes.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams; provide regular progress reporting.
  • Perform site visits, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate professional development.
  • Support permitting, environmental and safety reviews; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Lead bidding and procurement support; manage change orders and project closeout.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license preferred in California.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and BIM workflows; experience with GIS a plus.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IBC, AASHTO, Caltrans standards).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% if required.
