Pinnacle Civil & Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Seattle team. You will lead diverse infrastructure projects from concept through construction, collaborating with cross functional teams and city agencies to deliver resilient, sustainable design solutions.
As a senior member, you will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with codes and standards, manage client relationships, and drive project success metrics, schedule, and budget.

Responsibility
- Lead civil engineering design efforts for transportation, drainage, utilities, and site development projects from concept through construction.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, city agencies, and stakeholders; review permits, approvals, and submittals.
- Develop and review technical calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM tools.
- Prepare project scopes, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and resource plans; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and sustainability goals; perform quality control and peer reviews.
- Mentor and train junior engineers; lead technical discussions and design reviews.
- Lead client communications, progress reporting, change management, and proposal development.
- Support construction administration, site visits, and resolution of field issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Masterβs degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer P.E. license in Washington or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 8+ years of civil engineering experience with infrastructure, transportation, or site development projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM software, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS).
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards (AASHTO, IBC, ADA, stormwater, and erosion control).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience with client engagement, proposal development, and business development is a plus.
