Responsibility
- Lead civil design for municipal, transportation, and commercial projects from concept through construction documentation.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning to meet project milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Review drawings, specifications, and QA/QC plans for accuracy and compliance with codes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AASHTO, DOT, OSHA) and prepare permit applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with junior staff to build technical capabilities.
- Conduct site visits, oversee field investigations, and support construction administration.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Minimum 6 years of civil engineering experience in site development, transportation, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM software, and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards; excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication; proven ability to manage client relationships
- Experience leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as needed
