Pinnacle Civil Consultants, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Civil Engineer to join our Seattle office and lead design, analysis, and project coordination for a portfolio of public and private sector projects. Responsibility
- Lead civil design and project coordination for site development, transportation, and utility projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare and review designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates across multiple projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters, ensuring quality deliverables and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards, perform design checks, and implement QC processes.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors; manage permitting, approvals, and stakeholder communications.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans to meet milestones.
- Conduct field investigations and construction observations to verify conformance and resolve field issues.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; earned or capable of obtaining a Professional Engineer license in Washington or another state.
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience in site development, drainage, roadway, and utility design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation; experience with BIM workflows is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IBC, AASHTO, Washington State DOT standards, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to balance technical tasks with client-facing responsibilities and manage competing priorities in a hybrid work environment.
