Responsibility
- Lead, design, and oversee complex civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and public agencies to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Oversee site investigations, analyses, and construction oversight for quality assurance and compliance.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the team.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and management.
- Direct experience with urban infrastructure, utilities, and transportation projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
