Responsibility
- Lead civil design for transportation, drainage, earthworks and structures across multiple projects.
- Prepare and review designs, drawings, specifications, and contract documents in compliance with AS/NZS standards.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, structural, electrical, and surveying.
- Oversee construction administration including site visits, RFI responses, and progress reporting.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians; support training and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure QA/QC processes and compliance with client requirements.
- Liaise with authorities and clients for permits and approvals.
Qualification
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in civil infrastructure.
- Chartered Engineer or eligible; professional registration with Engineers Australia (CPEng) or equivalent.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation; BIM experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS codes and standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines; valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.
