We're seeking a results-driven Civil Engineer to lead design, analysis, and project coordination on a variety of municipal, transportation, and site development projects. Responsibility
- Lead civil engineering design and project management for municipal, transportation, and site development projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.
- Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk registers; monitor progress and report to leadership.
- Oversee drainage, stormwater, roadway, and site hardscape design; ensure constructability and high quality documentation.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers, CAD technicians, and interns; review deliverables for quality and consistency.
- Conduct field investigations, site visits, and assist with commissioning, testing, and as-built documentation.
Qualification
- B.S. in Civil Engineering; PE license in WA or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience delivering municipal, transportation, or site development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and BIM software (Revit, Civil 3D).
- Strong knowledge of hydrology/hydraulic design, drainage, stormwater, and roadway design.
- Experience with design standards (AASHTO, IBC, ADA) and regulatory permitting processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with modeling software (SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and MS Office; strong problem-solving abilities.
