Responsibility
- Lead and manage civil engineering design and delivery for transportation and municipal projects from concept through construction.
- Develop design calculations and prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM tools, and related software.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, QA/QC, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and CAD technicians, fostering technical excellence.
- Prepare proposals, technical reports, and bid-ready deliverables to support business development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as AASHTO, ACI, and local regulations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Washington or commitment to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and site development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM platforms, and hydraulic/structural analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and permitting processes relevant to municipal and transportation projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction.
